Customer Beware Continued Story of Jamey Head Hurts

So our Jamey tried her best to explain it all to me.  Then the question came.  "Are these guys allowed to commit extortion to get me to buy a phone system from them?"

"Yes OH YES!", my inner voice screamed but as in all things cautious, I was admirably restrained in my response.

I told her the best truth I could come up with outta the seat of my pants.

Yes, you are able to use any network compatible telephony equipment you wish.  You may and probably should take bids and study feature offerings as relating to your business operations.  If you have and are supremely comfortable with an equipment provider, then by everything that is right to do, continue using them.

Yes, the CLEC will probably screw up the network access and dial tone cut over.  You couldn't prove it due to vindictiveness.  I can prove it is due to poor communication, follow up and attention to details and due dates.

Ever hear the term SNAFU with emphasis on the FU?  You can't prove vindictive response by a CLEC because you chose another equipment provider.  Can't prove it because they screw everything up for all of their customers. Still looking for stories about ONE good network cutover!!!
